Gathering Joy, Seeking the Sacred, Living in the Mundane.

Joy and home can be so complicated and so simple. They can be found in a moment of quiet reflection, and in spaces where you are free to ask the hard questions. They inhabit snippets of beauty in unexpected places, warm embraces, a soothing song, and new ideas that light your fire. Wherever joy can be found, I am on the hunt for it.

Every week I will be updating my blog with posts on faith and all its’ messy complexity in today’s world, my ongoing home projects, fun tips and facts about Charleston, SC, the beautiful city we are currently living, and resources to carefully weave joy into your own days. These are little moments designed to hopefully make you laugh, reflect, and grow in your own life of joy.

Once a month I will send out the Joy Correspondence. In this you could find:

  • Reflections on faith and life.

  • Updates on home projects I am working on for myself and others.

  • Fun guides for a little travel pizzazz.

  • Book suggestions.

  • Guest posts from friends and community members.

  • Quick links to the blog posts you missed.

  • Whatever moments of joy I collected throughout the month that I think could help you as you create a home both around you and inside you.
